# Password Plus Email Visitor Analytics in Revdoku > Use password plus email access to identify visitors and attribute website access to submitted email addresses. Use **Password + ask to leave email** when a Revdoku website should stay protected and you need to know who accessed it. This mode asks visitors for the shared password, an email address, and an optional comment before showing the published site. This walkthrough uses the `Semi News Today` live site for the visitor gate and the owner analytics. ## 1. Start from a live site In the bucket list, choose the site you want to gate. Open the bucket The bucket detail page shows the files that are published to the live site. Open the public protected site When a visitor opens the site, Revdoku shows a protected page before any website content is visible. Review traffic analytics Back in the app, click the view count or analytics details for the published website. Review visitor analytics Open the **Visitors** tab to see visitor-level attribution.
